An album of inventive, dynamic and powerful instrumentals. Not sure how I'd describe the genre? Perhaps what the result would have been, if someone had got Fela Kuti to compose some soundtracks to a series of Latin American action movies? And if you're Australian, like me, don't be put off by what the cover artist has done to our rainbow lorikeet: it's still a great album that's well worth buying.
